We stayed 3 weeks at this amazing resort, and we´ll definitely be back next year. We certainly recommend it for anyone that just wants to enjoy a relaxing, magic vacation with great environment, beautiful beach and good food. All …
We had a memorable vacation into this corner of paradise of Italy. Amazing sandy beach, perfect swimming pool made for families and kids, fresh food at restaurant and nice little shows during the evening.
This campsite is set in an incredibly scenic stretch of beach in the Capo Rizzuto protected marine area. The sea is crystal clear and the beach is a classic golden sandy strip. The village of Marinella is very quiet - the campsite …

We stayed in the village in the central two weeks of August. The village is compact and children/young people can wander around in peace even in the evening, precisely because it is located in a fairly isolated area. Beautiful sea, good …
We stayed at this property as a couple in the last week of August. Following some vicissitudes during the booking they assigned us a room with full board. The room (prefabricated mobile home) very small and stuffy but with the bare essentials for sleeping and taking a shower. No bidet or shower in the long, narrow bathroom. We are not complaining given the long journey and the honest price paid even if we discovered that with a difference of €50 we could have obtained a cooler and more comfortable two-room brick apartment.
Top sea, stable and functional umbrellas, sunbeds excellent for cleaning but uncomfortable for resting. From the campsite to the sea there is a descent and some steps: the proximity is convenient but I do not recommend it for people with walking difficulties.
Breakfast at the bar overlooking the sea and a suggestive atmosphere: limited choice of products, 2 types of watered down juice (ACE or blood orange), croissant or tart and coffee or cappuccino. Very young but helpful guys at the bar.
Lunch at the self-service diner exactly below the bar (always with sea view) with a wide choice of first courses, second courses and good quality side dishes; unfortunately for fruit always watermelon.
Dinner at the restaurant with table service: choice between 3 different courses, one of which is fairly standard to make it easier for children (e.g. pasta with tomato sauce/wustel and chips). The desserts were not to my liking. The lady in charge of the meals was helpful and kind and the non-Italian staff were average: from the friendly and sociable waiter who empathized with naughty children to the serious waitress who responded half-heartedly to requests. I hated the delivery of dishes with the finger on them, for me, a sign of little attention to hygiene.
Engaging animation even if this week's guests were often hostile to participation. Well-stocked playground available for children who feel free in a protected environment.
The structure has everything you need to leave your car parked all week (it also has a mini market) even if to go on a trip or simply reach a pharmacy the place is lost among the crops and narrow, dark streets.
I would like to point out that, when needed, all the staff were immediately available and understanding with the exception of the owner who seemed grumpy and not very courteous: we were enjoying an aperitif at the bar with some wonderful people we met on the spot and, as is normal yes, we were relaxing with chatter and laughter when we were "reprimanded" by the owner for being too enthusiastic which did not allow him to peacefully listen to the Crotone match which, I don't know the reason, he had to watch on the TV in the bar. We found it to be a very rude gesture towards customers who pay to stay there and, specifically, pay to peacefully consume an aperitif.
Overall a nice experience; I would go back for a weekend because another week would be repetitive, I recommend it to families with children but ask for the human-sized bungalow!
I'm staying in this village with my family. The village is small, suitable for people like me with children, because it allows you to leave them free as there are no cars circulating. It has a large playground, a large and beautiful swimming pool and a fantastic private beach. I chose a bungalow that enjoys a sea view... there are no words for the meals consumed on the small terrace of the bungalow with the sea in front.
The canteen offers good products at affordable prices, as do the bars (one by the pool and one by the sea). The village market offers various products but the prices are a bit expensive, even for a village, better to do the big shopping in the nearest town.
The owner is kind and helpful, like everyone who works there!
The beach is very close but I have the impression that there are not enough places, at least when the village is full (the places are not assigned); I have always found a place because I go at 8.30.
A big flaw is the lack of controls on respect for silence hours, which I found in many villages and which becomes essential when you have noisy neighbors...
Overall, recommended!
This is the second time we have stayed in this village, but there are many negative things that need to be taken into account. Positive aspects: The village is small, family-run, all cozy and directly on the sea! Beautiful sea top and …
